Shalom, To be a Cohen is a big Zechut and it is must be wrapped with a Kedusha. One can not say he don't want to be a Cohen, because it's a fact that can't be changed. One of the Cohen special Mitzvot, which grived from this Kedusha, is not to marry any woman he want to. A converted woman, who has been a gentile in her past, can't marry a Cohen in any Halachic situation. I can also add that such a marriage will also not be good for the couple, as we believe that the Torah knows best what is the "Bat-Kol" (the voice) been heard saying "Bat Ploni Leploni" (This woman/soul is designated to this man/soul). In this site we have been asked this questions for several times, and after years we got replies for times to times, from people who didn't want to listen to the answer, saying we were right and they are not happy now. Wishing you strength to support and help this couple. Rabbi Ezra Cohen
